Red Ribbon Week Spirit Days

Monday - Sports Day (Wear your favorite Sports Team Jersey or T-Shirt

Tuesday - Super Hero Days - Costumes allowed but no masks or weapons

Wednesday - United Day - Show your support of Diversity Causes (pink for Breast Cancer awareness, Blue for Autism, Rainbow for LGBTQ etc...)

Thursday - Smart Day - what does your definition of Smart look like? Scientist, NASA, Teachers...The possibilities are endless

3^rd Annual Back to School Night BBQ potluck!

Wednesday September 11, 2019 5:30-7:00

Join us for our BBQ potluck Meet and Greet before Back to School night. We will mingle, eat and then move into classrooms for the more formal presentation.  We thought this would be an enjoyable way to meet your teachers! 

Wednesday Sept 11^th 5:30-6:00 BBQ, 6:15-7:00 Classrooms

Grade 6—Sides (salads: potato, pasta, green etc, bags of chips)

Grade 7— Hot dogs & Buns

Grade 8—Paper Plates & Napkins and Individual Drinks (bottled water, Capri suns, and juice boxes) if you bring 2 liters of drinks please bring cups to serve the drinks in.

*Please drop off hot dogs by 4:00pm Tuesday 9/10

Please feel free to drop off any non-perishable items in the office prior to the BBQ day

Choir Performance 5/30

Oakbrook's Choir will perform on Thursday night in the MPR at 5:30 pm

Choir students should arrive by 5:15 to get set up.

The choir attire will be blue jeans or blue leggings or blue slacks and the following:

 1st - 3rd grades-- Blue shirt

 4th - 6th grades-- Red shirt 

 Readers (regardless of grade level)-- White Shirt 

8th Grade Promotion

Volunteers Needed!!

Do you have some spare time at lunch? Can you volunteer an hour of your time and help with yard duty??  We are in dire need of parents who are fingerprinted and would like to volunteer with yard duty between 11:20 - 12:20

Oakbrook's Dancing with the Stars

On Saturday, April 13th, Oakbrook Academy of the Arts will present a very special evening. Oakbrook’s Dancing Dolphins student performers will each be paired with local Fairfield community leaders to present a “Dancing With the Dolphins” showcase. The Dancing With the Stars themed event will be held from 7-9pm at the Joseph Nelson Center in Suisun featuring not only the dance talents of our very own Solano County celebs, but also a beautiful dessert buffet with coffee, tea and other after dinner treats. Dancers will perform one solo dance with their own student “pro”, and one group dance with the other “amateurs celebrities”…. All in good fun to raise dollars for Oakbrook's arts-based curriculum!
